Summer 2026 Camp Details
Address: Mississippi State University Coastal Research and Extension Center (CREC), 1815 Popps Ferry Rd., Biloxi, MS 39532
Times: Regular camp days are 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with drop off starting at 8:45 a.m. Before care begins at 7:30 a.m. and after care ends at 5:00.
Day 1: On day 1, please park and walk your camper to the gated area for camp orientation. We will begin check-in at 8 a.m., with all campers should be present no later than 8:15 a.m. Orientation will take an hour or less.
Drop-off: After the first morning, drop-off will be a rolling car line. Please loop around the CREC parking lot to the front entrance where staff will check attendance each day.
Pick-up: Please follow the drop-off process when picking up campers. We require parent/guardian/designee ID and signature. If the camper is remaining for after-care, please email s3@usm.edu when you arrive, and the camper will be escorted to meet you.
Dress: Campers should be dressed in comfortable attire that may get dirty. Field day attire should include sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Schedule: Every day but field day, campers will remain at CREC and rotate through multiple activities. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Please have campers bring a refillable water bottle.
Attendance: If your camper will be late, must leave early, must be absent, or has an emergency during the camp day, please email s3@usm.edu.
Required Forms: Please complete this information ASAP. This information is for the safety of your camper and our staff. All information is required by June 1 for Session 1 and June 22 for Session 2. After these dates, we will begin inviting campers from our waitlist.

*Payment portal: Do not pay for a camp unless your children are accepted. Refunds are not available for those who pre-pay without authorization.
